11am Joe Costa & Tony Mumford

A two piece acoustic duo playing some original and some jazz standards. They have joined forces to perform at various fund raising events and have become a permanent fixture at the annual Cruelty Free and Lifestyle Expo. Last year they also had a residency at Soul Mama, one of Melbourne's premier vegetarian restaurants as well as a major sponsor of WVD!

12pm One Lane Bridge

Original 5 piece folk rock band driven by 3 part harmonies and mandolin. Music written in the hills of Hurstbridge, reflecting the beauty of nature and providing insight into the human condition. This group aims to challenge and inspire.

1pm Brett Weldon

Brett Weldon is a Melbourne based singer songwriter. Beautiful, dark, soulful lyrics and melodies flow like blood from a wound. A wound made by a lover. He will be joined on stage by the ever enigmatic Matty D.

2pm Simon Oats

Simon is a singer, songwriter, actor, storyteller and has been performing long enough to know better. His musical style has been described as folk/jazz/funk/reggae/pop fusion, mostly because he can't seem to make his mind up. As a long-time vegetarian himself, he is thrilled to perform for other animal lovers.

3pm Steve Kilbey

I will be playing solo accoustically from all periods of my career. I am appearing to endorse veganism as a way of life and people can see for themselves if my almost 40 years of vegetarianism make themselves apparent in my songs!

4pm Umanee

The music of UMANEE is inspired by a wide range of the world's cultural heritage.
Many of our songs may be associated with a specific culture or region, but they are not simply traditional folk music. And while each of our instruments has its own rich history, the way that we use them is enriched by our own experience, taste and imagination. These factors, together with a knowledge of classical and contemporary forms, and a respect for forgotten musical traditions, help to create the shape of our sound - an "earthy" fusion: from very energetic dance forms to mystical "landscapes"...
