WORLD VEGAN DAY 2006 - What a Success!

Wow! This years event was even bigger than last year! The new venue at Phoenix Park Community Reserve in East Malvern provided adequate indoor and outdoor spaces for the more than 70 stallholders exhibiting on the day, a great space for the musical entertainment and the fabulous playground kept the vegans of tomorrow happy!!!

Although a little overcast in the morning, the sun came out mid afternoon as a crowd of around 200 gathered to watch Steve Kilbey on the grass. The many other wonderful performers on the day added a pleasant backdrop for the festival feel of World Vegan Day.

We would also like to thank everyone who donated goods on the day;
for our WVD BBQ - Pappa Nutal, Natural Health Supplies, Simply Soy, Blue Lotus, Crumbs Organic Bakehouse, Vegan Perfection, Prima Soy and Garden Organics

for our Raffle. And last but by no means least, THANKYOU to all of you who came on the day. The day really is for you and we hope that you enjoyed the variety of products on offer and the wealth of information that such a day provides.
