Vegan Day event for 5.11.06

You will have seen from the diary dates in our recent newsletter that VegSA is planning a vegan day event for the first Sunday in November. We hope you, your family and friends will be able to join us at 95 4th Ave Joslin between 12 noon and 4pm that day.

We have been fortunate in obtaining the services of Govinda's Vegetarian Restaurant to provide a 2 course vegan lunch. Govinda's meals are always generous. However we suggest you book with us early so we can be sure of giving the cooks accurate figures. Meals are $12.50 per adult and $8 per child.

95 4th Ave is the College Park Scout Hall and there is a very attractive little park next door with plenty of shade so we should be well provided for in the event of inclement weather. The lunch will be picnic style so you might wish to bring chairs or rugs if you wish to eat out doors.

VegSA is inviting interested and related groups and individuals to hold either information or product stalls. If you or anyone you know would like to hold a stall please contact the Secretary on 8390 2314 or by email to: [email protected] We would like a range of stalls reflecting the different aspects of vegan life style. Vegetarian stalls will also be welcome but we would like to have vegan elements of your offerings to the fore.
