Hi everyone,
Next Saturday the 12th of December is the Walk Against Warming march. VNV wants to send a message to both the world leaders meeting in Copenhagen and to the general community that one of the most powerful things individuals can do for the environment (not to mention for themselves and the animals) is to switch to a vegetarian diet. We want to continue our work of firmly linking diet and the environment in the minds of all those who are concerned about climate change.
We will be marching in the walk holding our banner and handing out freshly printed 2nd edition Eating Up The World Brochures and other veg environment literature.
If anyone can help out (especially with handing out flyers) simply RSVP to me (meghandotstreetatgmaildotcom) and let me know you can make it.
VNV volunteers will be meeting up at 11.45 on the steps of the state library. We'll then split up and go into the crowd handing out flyers before marching. As we march we'll also hand out flyers to marchers and to those we pass and continue to the end.
